What You Need to Know Before You Start Using Pascal Products?

Our Pascal products are based on constant pressure technology, which is governed by specific laws of physics. The first and most important fact is that air changes its volume depending on the temperature. What does this mean for you? Quite a lot.

It is best to use examples. Imagine a warm day: at noon you inflated your Pascal “stiff,” but by the evening it has become clearly softer. Did the air leak out? Is it leaking? The most likely cause is actually something else. The drop in temperature caused the air inside the Pascal to decrease in volume, and thus it fills the inner bladder and the cover less effectively. What should you do in this situation? You can safely top up the air in your Pascal!

And what if the case is the opposite? You inflated your Pascal “stiff” in the morning, and then the temperature started to rise? In this case, the integrated safety valves will be activated, releasing any excess air. Unfortunately, if you leave the Pascal until the evening and the temperature drops again, it will become softer, just like in the first example.

Each of our inflatable advertising products can be inflated with a manual pump, although the time required varies. Small items like inflatable armchairs, sofas, stools, counters, or tables can be inflated in just a few minutes. However, inflating a large inflatable gate or an event tent will take much longer and requires significant effort. In such cases, we definitely recommend using high-power electric pumps.

Sometimes your Pascal may actually be losing air. Before you start looking for a hole in the bladder, however, check two things. Firstly, whether the valves have been properly screwed on. This applies to both the safety valves and the inflation valves. Secondly, check if any crumbs or debris have gotten into the inflation valve, preventing the rubber seal from seating correctly. In such a situation, you can simply blow out or clean the valve. We show how to clean the valve in the video below:

These are event products – meaning they are resistant to rain and sun

Yes, Pascal products are designed for outdoor use. They are resistant to sun and rain, but only under certain conditions. Unfortunately, you cannot simply leave your Pascal outdoors for the entire summer. It will not come out of such an operation unscathed, although we have made every effort to make it as durable as possible.

You should avoid getting Pascals wet if they were manufactured using hard boards (OSB version). A one-time exposure certainly won’t hurt them, but getting them soaked multiple times may cause the boards to deform.

The tent fabric used in Pascal products is impregnated, which does not mean it is completely waterproof. Before packing your Pascal into storage bags, you must absolutely dry it! Otherwise, you will ruin your product. Mold may develop on it, and the fabric will lose its properties.

The issue of sun resistance also requires a few words of explanation. It has been determined using the blue wool scale, which takes into account different intensities of sunlight. Our plain fabric has a resistance of 4-5 on this scale, while our printed fabric reaches 6-7. What does this mean? It means that a tent without a print can be exposed to summer sunlight for 2-5 weeks without a significant change in color. In winter, this period extends to 2-5 months. These parameters apply to the fabric itself (in its original color); for custom-printed inflatables, these values are even higher!

These are simple products, but…

The Pascal product line is incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble, but remember to always follow the instructions and exercise caution 🙂
