How to Prepare a Small Promotional Booth?
Do you need a small promotional booth where you can talk to customers comfortably and professionally? We will show you some practical solutions to make the most of your limited exhibition space.
A promotional booth is an incredibly versatile tool. You can use it on many occasions – not just during trade shows or exhibitions, but also at cultural, sporting, and educational events. Trade show stands are usually quite extensive and, consequently, expensive. Many exhibitors opt for custom-designed, often complex structures made of wood, metal, or plastic, where every element is strictly branded. But can it be done more simply? Today, we present a few ideas for small advertising booths.
A stand in a single bag
The simplest booth is essentially a type of branded desk. You may encounter various names and models for these displays, but they all share one thing in common: they feature a countertop and some form of visual brand identity. Manufacturers often refer to them as advertising counters, promotional lecterns, or marketing tables. They can be made from a wide range of materials, including furniture boards, plexiglass, aluminum, fabric, and even inflatable versions.
A practical booth of this type is easy to assemble and disassemble, and the entire setup can be packed into a single bag. This makes it highly mobile and universal. Sometimes, an advertising counter is equipped with eye-catching add-ons, such as a frame for a banner or a flag. These solutions are designed to ensure your small stand is visible from a distance.
Such a booth fulfills the most fundamental need: it designates a meeting point and provides a surface where you can present catalogs or sign documents.

Booth with a backdrop
Sometimes, however, you also need to create the right background for a given situation. It is crucial to cover what is happening behind you. Why? When you use a specific space, you don’t always have full control over it. Your interlocutor might see many things that do not work in your brand’s favor – be it office clutter or a wall that is dirty or simply doesn’t match your image. Their valuable attention could also be drawn by movement behind your back. If you want to avoid such “views,” simply set up a backdrop wall. Again, the name is quite conventional – it refers to a vertical structure with a suitable print.
Many solutions work well as a backdrop, and most of them fall into the category of budget-friendly displays that won’t break the bank. The first is certainly the promotional roll-up, which probably needs no introduction. Another option is fabric display stands – aluminum structures covered with a printed fabric sleeve. These can take various shapes, such as a curve, a wave, or an S-shape. Yet another method is a wall made of advertising cubes; while this isn’t the cheapest solution, such a wall provides you with up to six different graphics. You can arrange and rearrange it like a child’s puzzle.

Small promotional booth – expansion options
Now that we have the core of any company promotion stand- the counter and the backdrop- what else might prove necessary and effective? Here are a few solutions.
Branded bar stools (Hockers)
When a conversation with a client lasts a bit longer, it’s worth providing comfortable seating. It must be adjusted to the height of your counter. Since advertising counters are usually taller than standard tables or desks, a bar stool (hocker) is a perfect fit. We recommend a simple cylindrical version – inflatable and fully branded.
Illuminated advertising
Light not only attracts attention but also perfectly highlights your marketing message. That’s why it’s worth equipping your booth with a backlit display. Lighting can be integrated into the counter or lectern, but there are also other interesting illuminated options on the market, such as various advertising totems, lightboxes, and promotional pillars.
Portable flags with poles
This solution looks particularly impressive at outdoor promotional booths. Even a slight breeze sets the flags in motion, which naturally catches the eye of potential customers. Additionally, a row of several flags can effectively serve as a decorative substitute for an advertising wall.
Soft promotional barriers
Sometimes you want to enclose the space around your booth to create a “room without walls.” This technique helps organize the area and manage the flow of traffic at your stand. A simple barrier – even a low one- can provide a quiet space for customer consultations while keeping others at a safe, designated distance. Both the aforementioned backdrop walls and much lower soft advertising barriers (event surrounds) work perfectly for this purpose.
